Matthew Sairio (B. 1986) is a fiber artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Employing heavy use of free-motion machine embroidery and appliqué along with upholstery and quilting techniques, Matthew’s work is both a technical exploration of material and craft as well as a personal interrogation of memory, identity, and dreams.
